Privacy Policy

OvertoneIQ LLC. Last updated: August 2, 2026.

OvertoneIQ LLC ("we", "us") provides a virtual front-desk messaging service that answers and sends text messages on behalf of participating appointment-based businesses. This policy describes what information the messaging program handles and how it is used.

What we collect

How we use it

We use this information only to communicate with you on behalf of the business you contacted: answering your questions, sending appointment confirmations and reminders, sending booking links you asked for, following up on missed calls, and sending sign-in verification messages to staff. We do not send marketing texts, and we do not message anyone who has not contacted the business first or provided their number while booking.

What we share

We do not sell or rent your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties.

Message frequency varies with your conversation and appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

Your conversation is visible to the business you are communicating with, which is the point of the service. We use telecommunications providers strictly to deliver messages, and we may disclose information where the law requires it.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at contact@overtoneiq.com.

Retention and security

We keep conversation records only as long as needed to serve the business and its clients and to meet legal obligations, and we protect them with industry-standard safeguards, including encryption at rest.
